Whāia te iti kahurangi ki te tūohu koe me he maunga teitei.

Seek the treasure you value most dearly: if you bow your head, let it be to a lofty mountain.

Welcome to the Kahi Family website, a central place for us all to stay connected, learn about and share our families history, and work towards having our next reunion in 2018. The above whakatauki is about aiming high for what is truly valuable, but it’s real message is to be persistent and don’t let obstacles stop you from reaching your goal. The last Kahi Reunion was in 1986, and a lot has changed since then. We all lead incredibly busy and complicated lives, but because we all value each other and where we came from, we have within us the power and the ability to organise an incredible weekend of fun, connectivity, history, laughter, music and above all – family. Share this website around to your whanau and spread the word. Fundraising has kicked off and we need everyone to contribute to make this event a reality. Register you and your family now, or make a donation right here on this website. Every little bit counts. Come on Kahis, together we can do this!
